Writing and arranging for RoseWynde flute and harp has been one of the most fulfilling projects of my life! I found/created imagery for these two recordings to give them a new audience on youtube.
Ladye’s Delight/Haste to the Wedding is from our CD, "Distant Ayres". We often used this piece in weddings and concerts. It’s very fun to perform! "Distant Ayres" can be purchased through many digital platforms. The arrangement for the two traditional tunes is published through Alry. It is written as performed on pedal harp, but works very well on lever harp with a few edits. Please let me know if you would like a teaching video for these edits.
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach is simply performed and arranged. For the video, I struggled with imagery until “the Lamb of God” came to mind, and the JOY this piece brings, and the season of Spring and Easter were all there. I had a lot of fun making a trip to a beautiful farm nearby, with many thanks for the permission to film these beautiful lambs and the gentle ewes! I grew up helping my Dad with lambs every spring, and nearly every winter we had “bummer” lambs in our laundry room to bottle feed. It was wonderful to be with these well cared for sheep.
The recording is from our CD, "A Merry Little Christmas" which can be purchased through many digital platforms. I've assumed there are enough published arrangements of this piece, but let me know if this is something unique! I can look into publishing the arrangement.
